Below you will find various things that will be of use to you as you acclimate to the SCA. Many of the links are from the Society Web Page, but the most important resource is...
Your local Chatelaine is Sir Geoffrey. I am Geoffrey and I have been in the SCA for about 25 years, and have lived in five different kingdoms, as well as having visited many more. If you have any questions whatsoever, I can answer it or find the answer for you.
A Chatelaine is the person who is responsible for welcoming new members to the Shire. If you are new to the Shire I will keep you informed of the activities that are taking place in the Shire, as well as the kingdom. To do this I maintain an e-mail list for the newer shire members to remind them of current activites.
If you are new to the SCA then I will help you get with the people who can help you make garb, armour or anything else you need. We have loaner armour, loaner garb, and gear to make your start in the SCA much easier. I will be your guide to get you going and will answer any and all questions you may have, so use me, and ask questions.
Welcome to the Shire of Tir Briste!
