Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome at Fool's War, be they service animals or well behaved pets.
Per the ADA, service animals include dogs and some miniature horses that are trained to perform a task or tasks to aid a person with a disability.
For rules on other animals (ferrets, snakes, cats, skunks, etc.) please contact the autocrat.
Note - All canines must troll in, including service animals. A copy of the rules will be provided after signing the waiver. You must bring PAPER PROOF of the rabies vaccination.
Tags are not acceptable proof of vaccination.
Unfortunately there will not be coursing this year at Fool's War. We apologize for this inconvenience.
RULES FOR CANINES /SERVICE ANIMALS AT EVENTS
Owner/Handler must have a copy of their Rabies certificate with Vets information on it. Rabies tags will not be
accepted as proof of vaccination.
Animals cannot be left unattended at any time
Animals must be on a leash at all times with owner/handler in attendance unless it is in a turn-out pen with owner/handler in attendance
Retractable leashes are not safe. Animals must be kept on a standard lead.
If animal’s behavior is disruptive or destructive, you will be asked to leave the site upon the second warning
Owner/Handler will clean up after your animal immediately and dispose of waste appropriately
Animals must be provided adequate food, water and shelter
Animals should not be aggressive
Each animal owner will be asked to sign a waiver
