Event Challenge:


White Rabbit Challenge:

 


"The hurrier I go, the behinder I get; but I must hit all the stops along the way, if I am to ever finish my shooting day."

 

 
To complete this challenge and earn your reward, you must shoot and throw all of the challenges listed on the score card.  Score cards can be picked up at the Live Weapons sign in table.  You must have each completed challenge signed off by the marshal on duty for that station.

 

Archery Shoots:

 

 

Tweedle Dum vs. Tweedle Dee Shoot:

"Tweedledum and Tweedledee
Agreed to have a battle;

For Tweedledum said Tweedledee
Had spoiled his nice new rattle."

 


The boys are hot in an argument that can only be settled by arrows.  In this head to head challenge you and another archer will compete to leave your opponent with more rattles than you have.  Each brother will start out with two rattles on their side, each time a rattle is struck it will flip to your opponents side.

 

 

This shoot will have a time limit of 1:00 minute for both participants to shoot 6 arrows each.  The person with the least amount of rattles visible on their side will be declared the winner.

 

 

Humpty Dumpty Shoot:

 

 

 “Don't stand chattering to yourself like that,' Humpty Dumpty said, looking at her for the first time, 'but tell me your name and your business.” 

 

 

Your business is to show everyone why Humpty Dumpty fell of the wall.  You will have 6 arrows to clout at Humpty as he talks with Alice.  There will be a full circle on the ground around Humpty.

 

 

Points will be awarded as follows:

 

 

1 Point for the large ring on the ground
2 Points for the small ring on the ground
10 Points for knocking Humpty Dumpty off the wall
-5 Points for hitting Alice

 

 

 

Down the Rabbit Hole:

 

 

“In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.”

 


For this shoot you must send 4 arrows down the rabbit hole.  For each arrow that makes it through the hole you will receive 3 points.

 

 

 

Red Queen Walk:

 

 

“I don’t know what you mean by your way, all the ways about here belong to me…”

 

 

Come wander through the woods after the Red Queen as she chooses the shots you take. Each station will have a card of each suit arranged in a pattern of the Red Queen’s choice.  A card will be drawn from the deck at each station, and each archer will have two shots to try and hit the card of the chosen suit.

 

 

Points will be awarded as follows:

 

 

1 point for hitting a card that is not of the chosen suit
3 points for hitting the card of the chosen suit.

 

 

 

 

Thrown Weapons Throws

 

 

Slay the Jabberwocky:

 

 

“And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came!”


 

The Jabberwocky approaches!  Ready your Vorpal blade or in this case, Vorpal Spear!  You will have 6 throws to slay the Jabberwocky before he gobbles you up.

3 Point for a head shot

2 Points for the hands

 

1 Point for the belly

 

5 Bonus Points if 3 different targets are hit

 

 

 

Off With Their Heads!:

 

 

"You have displeased the Queen and she has made her verdict: Off with your head!"

 


There are two cards coming to drag you to the executioner. You have some knives, some axes and one chance to stop them.  You will get 6 throws of each weapons.  The axes will be thrown at the 3 of Spades and the knives will be thrown at the 5 of Hearts.

 

 

3 points for each large suit symbol hit
5 points for each small suit symbol hit
